Are we in trouble? I'm in freak mode.?

So I was watching tv in my downstairs living room and I woke up at 3 or 4ish and I heard this constant beeping noise coming from the main security controls. It said "in trouble" so I woke my parents up. My dad told me that it was probably the "strong currents" but I checked the weather report before and listened and watched some of the outside for a couple minutes and it was just the usual clear, dry, and all I could hear were frogs. Now I am going insane thinking that something is going to go wrong. My friend told me that in their are motion detectors in our houses in certain corners that set off the alarms but I've slept downstairs numerous times and it just started beeping for the first time. I feel like sleeping with a bat or not sleeping at all.
