Belly ring go off when i go through a medal detector in a airport?

hi i got my belly piercied a month ago when i turned sixteen since its the legal age for getting peircing in canada and my mom doesnt know and im going on vacaction today and i wanted to know if the medal detector will go off its sergical steel 14 gaug anyone know?my mom hates piercing please help!
