Color pattern detection in Simulink?

I'm new to Simulink and i'm trying to make an application to analiza human gait from a video camera film using detectors on the body, i need to be able to detect a specific color or a pattern of consecutive colors. Can any one please help? also if you have any useful links for related tutorials please post them. Thanks
